About

I’m Ken, and in September of 2018, I will be heading to Battle Mountain, Nevada, to try to break the handcycle land speed record at the World Human Powered Speed Challenge (WHPSC).

Working with the University of Liverpool Velocipede Team, I will be attempting to break the current speed record of 45.68mph/ 73.51kph.

With the help of many supporters, big and small, I will be embarking on an unexpected realisation of a childhood dream.

Follow me on my journey to push the limits of handcycling and fitness, to embrace the engineering marvel of ARION4, and to go beyond the limits of disability to become one of the fastest cyclists on the planet.
